Key Principles
- Respect for Human Rights: we are committed to proactively identifying and preventing any adverse human rights impacts resulting from our business activities through rigorous human rights due diligence and preventive compliance processes.
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement: acknowledging our impact, we engage with stakeholders in local communities to ensure their voices are heard and considered. We actively seek dialogue on human rights issues relevant to our operations, believing in local solutions for local challenges. We also foster economic opportunities through community-focused initiatives.
- Non-Discrimination: we maintain a steadfast commitment to equal opportunity and zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment based on race, sex, color, national or social origin, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion, or any other status protected by law. Recruitment, hiring, training, compensation, and advancement are based solely on qualifications and performance.
- Workplace Security: we strictly prohibit disrespectful behavior, unfair treatment, or retaliation in any form. Harassment is unacceptable within our workplaces and in any work-related settings. We maintain a secure workplace environment free from violence and other unsafe conditions, ensuring employee privacy and dignity are respected.
- Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining: our policy affirms the right of all workers to freely form and join trade unions without fear of intimidation or reprisal. We prohibit any interference in trade unions and commit to protecting workers against acts of anti-union discrimination. We actively facilitate collective bargaining with trade union representatives, ensuring they have access to necessary information for meaningful negotiations. Additionally, our policy guarantees that workers can submit grievances without fear of retaliation, fostering an environment of open communication and fair treatment.
- Safe and Healthy Workplace: We provide a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to all health and safety laws and internal protocols. Our commitment includes ongoing efforts to identify and mitigate workplace hazards for the safety of all workers and impacted stakeholders.
- Prohibition of Slavery, Forced Labor, and Human Trafficking: We prohibit all forms of forced, bonded, or compulsory labor, including human trafficking. Employees must work willingly and without coercion or intimidation.
- Child Labor: We will not employ anyone below the age of 18.
- Work Hours, Wages, and Benefits: Employees receive equal pay for equal work and are compensated in accordance with applicable laws governing minimum wages, working hours, overtime and statutory benefits. Wages are paid accurately and on time in accordance with national labor legislation.
- Access to Water and Sanitation: recognizing access to water as a basic human right, we ensure that all employees and individuals working on our sites have access to safe drinking water and appropriate sanitation measures.
