Our objective is to ensure that all employees and stakeholders clearly understand the principles that should guide their decisions and actions and how they should conduct themselves.

Application and Enforcement of this Code of Ethics

The Code of Ethics applies to all employees and associated companies of EcoPlanet Bamboo Group. Violations of this Code will result in disciplinary action under EcoPlanet Bamboo’s procedures, which may include summary dismissal or criminal prosecution. The Code is fundamental to our reputation, which is central to our success.

• In cases of uncertainty about appropriate behavior, employees should approach their General Manager.

Legal Compliance

Preventing Fraud and Corruption

EcoPlanet Bamboo is committed to transparency and the highest ethical standards. We prohibit bribery, extortion, fraud, collusion, and any other corrupt behaviors. Our Anti-Corruption Policy includes:

• Forbidding bribery of government officials and private-sector (commercial) bribery.
• Mandating the reporting of all actual or attempted instances of bribery and corruption.
• Encouraging the declaration and discussion of any potential conflicts of interest with managers.
• Prohibiting the use of company positions to secure improper benefits.

Political Affairs, Sensitive Payments, and Donations

Our interactions with government officials, customers, political parties, or candidates are conducted with the highest integrity to maintain our reputation and operational effectiveness. This includes:

• Ensuring employees seek proper guidance and obtain required approvals before engaging with the above-mentioned stakeholders.
• EcoPlanet Bamboo does not make political contributions from company funds to candidates, political parties, or committees.
• Prohibiting payments or anything of value to the above-mentioned stakeholders intended to improperly influence their duties or gain improper advantages.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Building and retaining trust with our stakeholders is crucial. We are committed to protecting personal data in compliance with local laws, which govern how we collect, use, and dispose of personal data. We expect employees and relevant stakeholders who have access to sensitive information to actively protect this information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, inspection, recording and destruction. This includes:

• Implementing robust measures to protect personal and sensitive information.
• Ensuring that confidential information is only accessible to authorized individuals and used for intended purposes.

Use of Company Assets, People, Resources, and Time

EcoPlanet Bamboo’s assets, including physical assets like computers and vehicles, and intellectual property such as project documents, are vital to our success. Proper stewardship and responsible use of these assets are essential. Employees must:

• Ensure company assets are used for legitimate business purposes.
• Safeguard assets against misuse, loss, or theft.
• Utilize time and resources efficiently to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Reporting and Whistleblowing

If you suspect or observe unethical or illegal conduct, you should promptly notify your line manager. If you are uncomfortable bringing the issue to your line manager, alternative reporting channels are available through the Corporate team.
