Anti-Corruption Policy

EcoPlanet Bamboo is a transparent and morally sound company with the highest ethical standards. Bribery, extortion, fraud, collusion and any other corrupt behaviors are prohibited in any operation conducted by the Company or any individual within the Company.

This Policy strictly prohibits bribery of government officials and private-sector bribery in any form. This includes offering, promising, authorizing, or providing anything of value to improperly influence activities related to our company. All employees and associated companies must avoid actions that violate anti-corruption laws, such as directly or indirectly offering or accepting payments or gifts to or from government officials, customers, political parties, or candidates (hereafter collectively referred to as officials). Any attempt to corruptly influence the success or performance of a project or service is strictly forbidden. This applies regardless of whether the improper advantage is offered directly or through an intermediary.

Furthermore:

• The Company’s prohibition on bribery applies to all improper payments regardless of size or purpose, including “facilitating” (or expediting) payments, which refer to small payments to officials to expedite or facilitate non-discretionary actions or services.
• It is never permissible to provide gifts, meals, travel, or entertainment to anyone in exchange for any improper favor or benefit.
• It is never permissible to provide or accept a donation to improperly influence or be influenced by an official, or in exchange for any improper favor or benefit.
• It is never permissible to hire or engage an official, or his or her immediate family members, to improperly influence the official, or in exchange for any improper favor or benefit.
• It is never permissible to provide a political contribution to improperly influence an official, or in exchange for any improper favor or benefit.

There are limited exceptions to the above that may occur. For example, donations may be permissible as part of a charitable effort to support the wider community. Prior written approval from the GM to the Corporate Team is required for any deviations.

This policy applies to all staff, contractors, consultants or any other third-party representatives acting on behalf of the Company. A violation of this policy could result in disciplinary actions including, but not limited to, termination of employment or contracts.

Commitment Toward Anti-Corruption in Our Operations

In order to enhance the rule of law and eradicate corruption, EcoPlanet is committed to the below measures:

Taxation

• All property is accurately recorded, and related taxes and fees are paid according to appropriate governments and/or regional offices
• Income tax returns are filed within every jurisdiction as required
• Internal audits are conducted

Employment

• All employees are paid at or above the minimum wage in the country of operations
• All employees are provided with statutory benefits and taxed accordingly
• Working conditions are in accordance with country labor laws

Adhere to Government Policies

• Permits and licensing are carried out through proper legal procedures

• All documents are filed correctly
• Due diligence is carried out by all partners and third parties in contact with government officials
